Rogues Gallery Halloween Postcard

Starting with the Peculiar;this Halloween hand drawn postcard is a one off original idea by myself.Inside each stamped sized little frame is a villainous rogue of my own creation.Some of them smile invitingly,some of them glare out through slightly less than human features!There is a spooky youth in the  bottom right corner,it is just Halloween after all…

 

Just Sayin"Gone"Postcard

This 'Gone',one word postcard is open to interpretation to some extent,which was the intention.I simply really like the way the font turned out,like typewriter font but somehow a bit more expressive.The simple white on black crosshatched background seems to highlight the font best.

It`s a bare bones,statement of plain fact postcard-you went-so you said you went,with a postcard that just said "gone"Could be sad,could be just a fact.

 

DoodleMadness Postcard

 This is really a concerted effort at doodling ,it was a lot of fun to create but i had to keep steering myself away from drawing faces which i did not want on it.The overall effect of all the doodling is quite lacy and pretty which i had hoped for.
I love some of the little love heart doodles and may yet enlarge and paint some of them.
The results are always interesting when you just switch off and start doodling,sometimes delightful!

Finally.Folksy! Might have blogged this previously but i now have a Folksy shop with a selection of MollysKnitted items in.I started with around 25 items,now have around 23/22.This has been my problem with Folksy-no sales.I only ever seem to be logging into the site to remove items that have sold elsewhere[Ebay,Etsy]Not likely to relist if i don`t recover listing costs[just under £5}Bit galled with it.If i was French i would spit but i am not so Tut! Hmf! and Pht!

The beehive tea cosie is 'upcyled' -knitted from the remains of several balls of beige wool which do not exactly match ,you can see this if you look close enough,this give a delightful shabby chic feel to the overall creation

This pretty snake has slightly shiny green wool used to create his snake eyes.He has two layers of colourful knitted wool stripes for extra warmth.

 

I thought  photographing this unique creation would be trickier than it was,due to the length of this wriggly chap,but as you can see from this last picture it just looks like what it is from pretty much any angle!

The dark purple was a bit trickier to photograph than all the other tea cosie`s.It is a very rich purple but has a little blue in it which tends to show up disproportionate to how much blue there really is-not much!

This beautiful little goth girl ragdoll is dressed entirely in black wool.With only the addition of black ribbons.Her waistcoat and skirt are crocheted,which adds a slightly lacy look to her outfit.It all looks a bit "Victorian Mourning Dress"but really she is a goth,she has purple wool lips!

Knitted Soft Toy Animals

This unique family of Teddy Bears having a Picnic cute soft toys are all adorably little.The Father bear is about the height of a tea pot,the children no taller than a mug and the little baby bear fits in the palm of your hand.They all fit snugly in a decorated shoebox and come with picnic rug and cupcakes.

The little baby bears blanket folds around it but is not attatched.

This sweet little Bambi like knitted soft toy roe deer has a beige colour wool that is fluffier than most wools.Stands unsupported.

This unique tortoise really cannot be repeated,his many buttons shell is created from a button collection that gathered over many years and it would be impossible to recreate him exactly.He is heavier than your average soft toy and with his armoured back,not that soft!

These two beautiful creatures are unusually pretty snakes!They each have little silk ribbon flowers sewn into the longer furry wool sections of their striped bodies.

They are quite long and were a bit tricky to photo."Snakes In A Frame "seemed like a good idea at the time.Then i realised the frame not being for sale it might be misleading to title them that*head desk*

This is a very bright red wool tea cosie,chilli red.The flowers are all curled up around the edges as though caught in mid bloom

This dark blue basket tea cosie with light blue flowers has silver thread in amongst the flowers petal layers and along the sides of the baskets handle.It is a deep evocative midnight blue and really gets that "by the light of the silvery moon"song lyric stuck in my head.Which is double annoying as i suspect the rest of the song to be rubbish as i don`t recall any of it,or the singer,or the title...

This dark grey wool is a bit unusual,having whispy bits of white throughout it.Reminds me of a wet rainy wind swept seaside town as you can tell from the title.
