Peaches Pinks and Red Hats and Scarves

This is made from two different types of wool that match in colour. Both lovely warm peach shades but one is  very soft cotton wool like texture an the other an ordinary acrylic blend wool. There are six  perfect little peach flowers in total.

PEACH BEENIE STYLE HAT

Another lovely warm shade of peach. This is a simple acrylic blend wool but tightly crocheted it is very warm. The brim can be worn turned up or down on most of the bernie style hats...

This lovely shabby chic style hat always puts me in mind of marmalade[definitely one with the orange peel still in] It is such a juicily fruity mix of orange colour wool and a little bit Christmassy really, just needs tinsel

^This is the hat photographed from above^

Very sweet simple shade of pink wool hat, again thickly crocheted for warmth

A lovely pale pink collection of wools in a shabby chic style hat.Great for keeping your hair in place on windy days as well as keeping the chill out.The brim is crocheted in a warm bubblegum pink colour wool, with a lacy edge.

^Photographed form above

This is a great city hat,a beautiful way to stand out in the urban landscape like a modern Red Riding hood! Crocheted thickly in a rich lush red wool which is a bit festive looking too for when you  are feeling Christmassy

I love these colours, they work so well together. The bubblegum pink and the hot red.It took quite a bit  of insistent requesting [nagging] to get my mother Molly who does all the crocheting and knitting to finally put them together as she does not like red at all and generally opposes it.

Tea Roses Tea Cosie Flower Posy`s...

This romantic red roses tea cosie ,available on Etsy was really a delight to photo and so simple!

The dark purple was a bit trickier to photograph than all the other tea cosie`s.It is a very rich purple but has a little blue in it which tends to show up disproportionate to how much blue there really is-not much!

Probably the prettiest of all these roses tea cosies, the pink and the blue are so sweet...

This was the first tea cosie with the bigger more 3d wool flowers on.This one gave me the idea for the pink and blue tea cosie.I love pink roses. This was also when i found out form Molly of The Knitting that these first yellow roses were really an attempt at daffodils...

Pink and Purple and Green...I Can See A Rainbow...Sing A Rainbow...

Coral hand basket and pretty pinks mixed flowers

This lovely light lilac`s,violet`s and lavender colour`s flower basket tea cosie is one of the prettiest
Lilac`s,Violet`s and light Purple Colours Tea Cosie
This fleshy pink and coral colour mixed wool tea pot warmer has something of the tropical about it,some of the flowers look a lot like  passionflowers

A richl thickly crocheted tea pot warmer, the dark inky purple really brings out the violet mix colour flowers on top.It has a lovely luscious look to it.
Dark Purples Flower Basket Tea Cosie
This light green  tea cosie looks a bit pastel shade but it isn`t quite. It is more solid a light green and the pink mix flowers on top are pastel pinks
Light Green Tea Cosie With Mixed Pinks
This green tea cosie with the bright red poppies on top is a little bit turquoise, you can see it has some blue in it[if you compare the basket to the leaves]just not enough to call it turquoise. There is one large tripled layered poppy on top, which should help keep the heat in whoever`s tea pot it ends up on!

Meshuggeneh Velt Etsy Shop

Empty Suit Acrylic Painting On Cardboard

Just opened a shop on Etsy for paintings, drawings and little witch figures.Had a browse around and am suddenly not optimistic, there are some fabulous arts shops on Etsy with under 20 sales!

Small and Stout Little Red Witchling Figure
Little Pink Frame 'You Wouldnt Would You Woman'Badge
Witch As Rock Goddess With Aflame Updo

This is from my Etsy shop 'about me'
I do not believe in witches or the supernatural at all.I paint witches ironically and sarcastically which i always assume is obvious but keep being proved wrong.I find painting witches to be funny. That a woman can still get called a witch today is not particularly hilarious but I choose to have fun with the ridiculous and explore the many outfits and styles a modern witch could go for....

As Goya said ;"when reason sleeps demons take flight" i think this applies when people look at women,my witch pictures are an exploration of this. The image of the witch to me simply means an unnecessarily demonised woman, quite likely completely blameless.I do not know but do not believe that there is or ever was such a thing as a supernatural witch [bitch`s definitely exist though i`ve met lot`s of them!]

The little baby Witchling sculptures lead on from the pictures.Evolved from the generic 'ladies' symbol found on toilet doors all over the world. The most basic symbol of a woman turned into a witch child.Really more vacant of 'evil' than your average tin of biscuits.
