Second Part Of Custom Order Of Tea Cosies

The second half of the custom order is mostly made up of repeat items of previously made tea cosies that were sold on Etsy or Ebay. The Rainbow Cake is the only one that will probably never be repeated exactly as it is here.

Cosies similar to the cupcake and white cake are available on Etsy.

Novelty Tea Cosie`s and A Rainbow Snake Scarf

The plump little wool berries all over the top of this gorgeous white gateau cosie are filled with a washable polyester stuffing.
These beautiful cake tea cosie`s have padding in the top, this helps them keep the cake shape and keeps the heat in the tea pot...

The amazing fudge coloured ribbon on the tasty looking cosie has been washed several times and has not yet lost it`s shape!

This beautiful vibrantly colourful rainbow stripes tea cosie keeps putting me in mind of the American flag ...leaves me wondering if there is much call for national flag themed tea cosies...

The hand knitted poppies on this black and red cosie are really beautifully made, some are smaller and sweeter than remembrance day paper poppies, others larger with several layers. The very small ones have two shades of red wool used in there creation. These mixed red poppies really give the cosie  an elegant and well made look.

The beehive tea cosie is 'upcyled' -knitted from the remains of several balls of beige wool which do not exactly match ,you can see this if you look close enough, this give a delightful shabby chic feel to the overall creation

This pretty snake has slightly shiny green wool used to create his snake eyes.He has two layers of colourful knitted wool stripes for extra warmth.

I thought  photographing this unique creation would be trickier than it was,due to the length of this wriggly chap, but as you can see from this last picture it just looks like what it is from pretty much any angle!

It`s In Black and White; The Marvels Of Monochrome

The beautiful white blooms on this gorgeous tea cosie are extra large and quite thick, each having three 'petal'layers of wool. They all sit securely sewn on top, sure to keep your tea pot hot!

This pretty little somehow very traditional looking ragdoll is festooned with handcrafted detailing. She has several layers of underskirt and  hand sewn detailing on her wool shoes.Traditional or Victorian?

Active Ann wears dashing upcycled black velvet trousers, perhaps better described as 'pantaloons'

This beautiful little goth girl ragdoll is dressed entirely in black wool. With only the addition of black ribbons. Her waistcoat and skirt are crocheted, which adds a slightly lacy look to her outfit. It all looks a bit "Victorian Mourning Dress"but really she is a goth, she has purple wool lips!

Handsome Black and White Striped Pussycat. If you look closely at his hand sewn in face details you can make out in pink wool his happy, cat that got the cream contented smile!

This lovely ghostly tea cosie is crocheted thickly [stands up unsupported]in a all white wool and the face details are sewn on black velvet.

Blue and Red Tea Cosie`s

This is a very bright red wool tea cosie, chilli red.The flowers are all curled up around the edges as though caught in mid bloom
You would be hard pressed to find a Tea Cosie More blue than this one!Every flower is blue and the Basket itself is more than one shade of blue.
The grey wool used in the flower basket of this Tea Cosie is much softer than most wools.

This dark blue basket tea cosie with light blue flowers has silver thread in amongst the flowers petal layers and along the sides of the baskets handle. It is a deep evocative midnight blue and really gets that "by the light of the silvery moon"song lyric stuck in my head.Which is double annoying as i suspect the rest of the song to be rubbish as i don`t recall any of it,or the singer,or the title...

This dark grey wool is a bit unusual, having whispy bits of white throughout it.Reminds me of a wet rainy wind swept seaside town as you can tell from the title.

Coral hand basket and pretty pinks mixed flowers

This lovely light lilac`s,violet`s and lavender colour`s flower basket tea cosie is one of the prettiest
Lilac`s,Violet`s and light Purple Colours Tea Cosie
This fleshy pink and coral colour mixed wool tea pot warmer has something of the tropical about it,some of the flowers look a lot like  passionflowers

A richl thickly crocheted tea pot warmer, the dark inky purple really brings out the violet mix colour flowers on top.It has a lovely luscious look to it.
Dark Purples Flower Basket Tea Cosie
This light green  tea cosie looks a bit pastel shade but it isn`t quite. It is more solid a light green and the pink mix flowers on top are pastel pinks
Light Green Tea Cosie With Mixed Pinks
This green tea cosie with the bright red poppies on top is a little bit turquoise, you can see it has some blue in it[if you compare the basket to the leaves]just not enough to call it turquoise. There is one large tripled layered poppy on top, which should help keep the heat in whoever`s tea pot it ends up on!
